Tree lightings, garden festivals, Turkey Trots ... these are all a part of what makes the Thanksgiving and holiday season so special. Getting outside with your family and friends are a huge part of that, too.  

Though plenty of fun activities have already passed, there are still plenty of events to enjoy the rest of this month and beyond.

Gardeners will be delighted with a free, one-stop shopping for unique garden items including flowering trees, unusual tropical plants and fruits, bougainvillea, orchids, roses, bromeliads, palms, cactus, herbs, bonsai, bamboo, fruit, ginger and butterfly plants as well as garden art, honey, and gardening supplies.

For art enthusiasts, a biannual, free art show is happening in Estero. The show features up to 175 juried fine art and fine craft artists where all work is original and personally handmade by the artists in the show.

Music lovers will enjoy Dave Koz's 20th anniversary Christmas tour. The Grammy-winning artist's performance takes place the weekend after Thanksgiving, and features special guests David Benoit, Rick Braun, Peter White and introducing Selina Albright.
