How Crises in World History Have Helped Create Art

From the days of the Black Plague through the wars of the 20th century, global crises have been incubators for the creation of music, weighing, poetry, painting, sculpture and film. We will screen a WGCU PBS program on the subject, which is produced by award‐winning producer/director Joel Banow. We will also see many examples of how world crises have produced great art.
