Music of Beethoven on Sunday, January 5

“From Beethoven to Vladigerov & More” will initiate the ninth season of unique chamber music concerts provided by the Estero Concert Series at 3 p.m., January 5 at the Koreshan State Park’s historic Art Hall.

Featured artists are Daniela Shtereva on violin and Daniela Dikova on piano.

Concert founders and artistic directors Bella Gutshtein and Boris Sandler are joining the international music community in celebrating the 250th anniversary of Ludwig Van Beethoven’s birth by performing some of his great masterpieces during the upcoming season.

The next two concerts are Beethoven’s cello sonata No. 5 in D major, piano trio Op.70, No. 1, on Sunday, February 9 and Beethoven’s “Romance for violin No. 2, sonata for violin and piano No. 5, string quartet Op. 18, No. 4, on Sunday, March 22.

Performers for these concerts are all accomplished classical musicians, several of whom are currently with the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra and other important musical groups around the country.

In addition, the group will feature a free Holocaust Remembrance Special Event and 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz on Sunday, April 26.

All concerts and the special event start at 4 p.m., except the January concert which starts at 3 p.m. Tickets are available at $42 per person; this price includes entrance to the park.
