Mother's Day is Sunday, May 13, 2018 and it's so important to make sure mom feels appreciated. However, life gets busy, and somehow the weekend is nearly here and no plans have been made!
Luckily, there are plenty of things to do in Southwest Florida that are both fun and thoughtful. We've put a few things together for your consideration.
Music, Drinks, and Barbecue
For the mom that loves blues, brews, and barbecue, you can head on over to
Tin City in Naples for the
Blues, Brews & BBQ starting on May 12, continuing on through May 13. Enjoy live music, craft beer, BBQ, blue crabs, vendors and children activities! Food and beverages are available for purchase.
Start Your Day Off With a Cruise
Pure Florida, starting at
the Marina at Edison Ford in Fort Myers, gives you a chance to pamper mom in the good weather all weekend long with daily
cruises, starting May 11 and continuing on through May 13. The cruises begin at 7 a.m., but go on through 7 p.m. The cruise is free for moms with a full-fare paid adult or child ticket.
Spend the Day at the Botanical Garden
Treat mom or grandma for a
stroll through the tropical landscapes of the
Naples Botanical Garden this Mother’s Day. Mothers and grandmothers are free! The first 200 mothers or grandmothers to check in at the Chabraja Visitor Center will receive a special gift.
Explore Wildlife at the Zoo
Celebrate Mother's Day Weekend at
Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens! Moms get in free with a paid child ticket - coupon must be presented at time of admission!
