Bimini Bait Shack Is Hiring in Fort Myers

Bimini Bait Shack, LLC - 17501 Harbour Pointe Dr, Fort Myers announced it is currently hiring full-time line cooks and dishwashers, as well as a host, bar back, food runner, and busser, on its Facebook page last week. Shifts include both lunch and dinner. Those interested are encouraged to apply in person, Monday through Friday, from 3 to 5 p.m.

 

The restaurant, known for its fresh seafood and signature drinks, has served the Fort Myers area since 2018. Currently, Bimini Bait Shack is not taking reservations, but call-ahead seating is available. The menu includes everything from appetizers to sandwiches, small plates, soups and salads, fresh seafood, raw bar, classic entrees, and desserts.

Drinks include a wide variety of signature cocktails, frozen daiquiris, wine, and craft beer.

Aside from the robust island-style menu, Bimini Bait Shack has live entertainment most days during both lunch and dinner hours, 1 - 5 p.m. and 6 - 10 p.m.

Gift cards are available in various denominations from $25 to $250. Payment can be made via PayPal with a $5 flat rate shipping and handling fee.

The restaurant has received several positive reviews, averaging 4.7 out of 5 stars on Facebook from 942 people, 3.5 out of 5 stars on Yelp from 253 people, and 4 out of 5 stars on Tripadvisor from 335 people.

"First time visiting," Shawntelle T. said on Facebook on Feb. 13. "Love the tiki atmosphere. The fish tank bar and swings. Great food, drinks and service!"

"This place was packed but they got our table of 8 seated in within 10 min (they told us 45, we got lucky!)," Lady K. added [sic] on Yelp on Feb. 5. "Food was good & quick. Service was good. Would recommend! Fun spot after spending the day on the water."

"My husband and I went to Bimini in January," a Wisconsin native commented on Feb. 18 on Tripadvisor. "First of all the server (David) was absolutely awesome! He went above and beyond suggesting the coconut cream pie for dessert. We are not dessert people but decided to share a piece. It was amazing! My husband had the best burger he said he ever had and I had the pink shrimp which was great! Loved it so much had to go back again today. It did not disappoint."
