Love Art? There’s No Lack of Opportunities in Southwest Florida

Joining an art group offers opportunities to socialize, learn, share knowledge, network, participate, volunteer and get your art out there. Southwest Florida offers a wealth of great places to do all of this. One of them is the Centers for the Arts Bonita Springs (CFABS), where there are opportunities galore to explore art, music, theater, film and dance; take classes; and attend concerts, films, performances and lectures.

CFABS consists of two campuses—one dedicated to the visual arts and one to the performing arts. The Center for Visual Arts offers multiple fine art galleries, fully equipped studios, gift shop, library, sculpture garden and classes in painting, drawing, clay, sculpture and more, according to marketing and creative director Christine Elzinga. Meanwhile, at the Center for the Performing Arts, patrons can enjoy concerts, dance, theater, comedy, film, lectures and youth education classes.
