Ross Manahan hopes to retire in Southwest Florida soon. Some of his transplanted Minnesota friends have been begging him to bring his restaurant success to Florida. So this summer, Manahan obliged and opened Rooster’s Barn & Grill in Fort Myers where Fuzzy’s Taco Shop used to be.

Ten years ago Manahan opened two Rooster's Barn & Grill locations in Minnesota and has enjoyed great success. Knowing he would one day move to Florida, Manahan chose Fort Myers for his new restaurant location. Somehow locals found out about opening day because when Manahan unlocked the doors, customers were already standing in line, waiting to be seated.

Serving up breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Rooster's Barn & Grill is currently open 10am-11pm Monday through Wednesday, 9am-11pm Thursday through Saturday, and 9am-10pm on Sundays. The breakfast menu is only available until 11am Monday-Saturday and until noon on Sundays, but Manahan hopes those hours will eventually expand. Rooster's is currently hiring and training staff to be able to handle a large breakfast crowd.

The next time you're looking for a place to grab lunch or dinner, head over to Rooster's Barn & Grill. Enjoy the sports bar fare of burgers, wings, and fries while relaxing at one of the two bars, including an outdoor patio bar. Play a game of billiards or challenge a friend to a game of darts. Rooster's Barn & Grill is ready to serve Southwest Florida!
