"Johnny Was Good" Private Screening Documentary

Jax Fam Foundation hosts an exclusive Naples event "Johnny Was Good" private screening documentary on March 16, 2022 from 6-10pm at Paragon Theatre located at the Pavilion.

"Johnny Was Good" is a sports documentary that examines the challenges of connecting the bridge between hopes & dreams for young student athletes. It shares the true story of Johnny Mattress, who, as a young sports star, had his tangible dream of becoming a professional sports star dashed due to poverty, death and even some of his own poor decision making. However, the story doesn't end there – an unexpected source brings him out of the dark & provides life with new purpose.

The event will feature cocktails & hors d'oeurves followed by a private screening of the documentary and exclusive Q&A with Jason Jackson, founder & chair of Jax Fam Foundation, director and executive producer of "Johnny Was Good", 22-time Emmy Award Winning Sports Broadcaster & a member of the Miami HEAT Broadcasting Team.

The "Johnny Was Good" event benefits Get There, a new Jax Fam Foundation affair which helps under resourced, elite scholars primarily from South Florida by encouraging and support exceptional scholars to attend and excel at America's finest institutions of higher education. Get There closes the gap created by generational exclusion and insufficient funds, in an attempt to meet the increasing financial demands of the full costs of higher education.

Tickets start at $175 & can be purchased via Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/johnny-was-good-private-screening-tickets-256914035797?aff=efbneb
